Homage to the “Dying Galatian” (IT: Galata morente), bronze statue commissioned to Epigonus between 230 and 220 BC by Attalus I of Pergamon to celebrate his victory over the Galatians, the Celtic people of Anatolia. This statue has a very strong meaning, as it represents the man defeated, just before his death. So I decided to celebrate the courage of all the men who die in battle.
